When I heard about this tragic event I really did not wan't to hear about it. I felt like it was another piece of negative news that i didn't want to hear. I guess my point/philosiphy is that there is too much bad stuff that we hear about without any info about the good news...i guess i should correct my self and and say very little as oppose to none.
Of course, the news was unavoidable, being the biggest school shooting in the US history (i think(it's what i heard)). My friends ended up talking to me about it and stressing out so I naturally had to listen. I think it was a tragedy but it still really hasn't affected me. Maybe it's still just a number in my mind.

The news is the mirror to the worlds ugly side. I was really upset to hear about the incident at the school but I also felt bad for the person who shot everyone. Even though He killed 32 innocent people he was a very disturbed and emotionally unstable person. Sadly he caused a lot of heartbreak and tragedy. I am really tierd of hearing about some teenager who is ignored and alone who snaps and kills a bunch of innocent people. Its really sad that this happens. I am so repulsed by the news that I cant really watch it.

Well as Scott said one say " At first 32 was just a number. But now 32 is people. There are pictures of the victums" When he said that in class it REALLY hit me. Wow think abou the family's of those people, the friends. It was insane what those few words REALLY ment.

I watched all the families on the news talking about there kids in school and i remember it was so sad.. i believe that everything happens for a reason but sometimes things just dont make since and it drives me crazy trying to make since out of it. And i agree that the shooter was unstable and i think it is really sad that he snapped the way he did.. and i don't think that people should judge him because of what he did because no one really knows the whole situation.
